catering / entertainment: hotel reykjavik has an on-site steakhouse and we offer an excellent morning buffet every morning of the week. our bar/cocktail lounge is open every night. a pleasant 10-minute walk will take you to the national theatre; kjarvalstadir art exhibition centre; the pearl (reykjavik’s most interesting phenomenon - a glass dome built on top of geothermal tanks); and dozens of other interesting places.

local travel: our guests have free access to private parking in hotel reykjavik’s parking house. from hlemmur, reykjavik’s central bus centre only 300 metres from hotel reykjavík buses leave frequently travelling to all parts of the city, including reykjavík airport and coach centre.

renovations: the hotel has been doing some renovation recently, for example: changing the carpets in the corridors, new televisions with pay tv, wireless internet in all rooms, putting in hardwood flooring and replacing all curtains in the oldest part of the building. the hotel has scheduled further renovations in 2007.
